Author’s note: Our writing circle group decide to write about your favorite quote. I decided to write about this quote because I don't want to lose my friends. I hope that when you read this you won’t want to lose your friends either.

"Friends are like balloons. If you let them go, you can’t get them back. So I am going to tie you to my heart so I will never lose you.”

This quote reminds me of my friend because if I lose her then I know that I probably won't have her as a friend anymore. A friend is the person who listen to you when your down and they will be there when you need them the most. This quote taught me a lesson that friends are great but you have to make sure that you don’t lose them. After I read this I learned that if you have a friend that you don’t want to lose then my suggestion is don’t act like someone that you aren’t, just be yourself.Some people assume that having a friend is just being nice to them for there food. Personally I think that if you are a person who is friends with a person and they only are friends with you because of your food then you need to find some new friends.I have been taught to have a friend who is nice and not just using you. This is how a friendship should be.
