Author's Note: This story gets confusing but at the end it all comes together, when you read this passage.
Sal has to get to Idaho in a week and she left from Ohio. She is traveling with her grandparents. Sal wants to get to Idaho really fast because there going to find her mother and bring for mom back home. While they are in the car Sal is telling her grandparents a story about this girl name Phoebe Winterbottom. In Phoebe's story she gets these mysteries notes at her door.
