The rain of cupcakes

Author’s Note: I had fun writing this essay about “It’s Raining Cupcakes” because even though they had a lot of struggles, their dream came true. When you read this essay, get a craving and a taste for cupcakes like I did.

The month before our grand opening there was a long list of things to accomplish and a lot of struggles every way we turned. Will we make it through this last month of challenges to accomplish our dream of the grand opening of our store. “It’s Raining Cupcakes” By: Lisa Schroeder, is a lot of struggle for Isabel's mom’s dreams to come true.

In the beginning of the book there was so much excitement about planning and designing our new cupcake shop. Imagine having your family decide that they were going to start there own business. If my family would have started a new business I would be so excited that I would want to help them out by putting a list together of things we need to do. I would start reading catalogs trying to come up with names for our business. I would help my mom pick out furniture for the inside of our shop.

Isabel and her mom would have so many struggles, first making cupcake recipes for there shop. The next scare they had was their furniture might not be in on time for their grand opening. The worst obstacle was Beatrice Brownies their biggest competition was moving in to their neighborhood. Here is how I would feel about having so many struggles. I be stressed out and not know what to do. I can understand why Isabel’s mom wanted to quit.

One of the most challenging stories where the dreams come true at the end  is “It’s Raining Cupcakes.” I hope that all my dreams come true without having to go through all of the struggles that Isabel had to go through.
