Home by Philip Phillips

In the song "Home", its mostly talks about don't let me go I want to live with you the rest of my life. This is the guys point of view. The guy is trying to tell his girl friend that she doesn't have to be scared because he won't leave her alone anywhere.

One way that "Home" makes the listener feels trusted is because in the some he tells her that "she doesn't have to be scared because he will never let her go". This statement makes the listener feel that the male is a safe guy and that he loves her and doesn’t want anything to happen to her.

The reader would feel differently about the song Home. The song was written in the point of view of the man. The reader wouldn’t think about the same things the singing was thinking about when he sang this song. The listener might think about it’s a love story he doesn’t want to lose her.

As you can see the point of view of this song lets the listener see one side of the topic. In Home the males point of view makes the reader feel that they want to know more about what is going on in the females mind. The males point of view he’s trying to tell the female that she doesn’t have to be scared when she’s with him.

  1. I would score myself 9 because I have everything that was on the check list but I don't believe this was on of my best essays.
